The RSS called PM Narendra Modi's Stand on Ram Mandir Ordinance as a 'positive step'
The RSS has issued a statement on what Prime Minister Narendra Modi said about the Ayodhya dispute, as spoken by him during his wide-ranging interview with ANI's editor Smita Prakash and called as a 'positive step'. They have added 'the people of Bharat expect this government to fulfil its promise'
In his interview to ANI, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the below points when asked about a Ram Mandir ordinance:
• "We have said in our BJP manifesto that a solution would be found to this issue under the ambit of the Constitution"
• He made clear that proposed legislative routes such as an ordinance could only come into play once the ongoing legal process- the title suit in the Supreme Court -concludes:
• "Don't weigh it in political terms", and took on the Congress specifically for attempting to stall the matter in the court:
The Prime Minister's view comes just days before the apex court takes up the Ayodhya title dispute again on Jan 4, with the bench that will hear the case to be decided.
